Students & Young Adults

Welome to Norwich and welcome to Gateway Vineyard – we are so glad you’re here!

We’re a community of students who gather together regularly to have fun, follow the way of Jesus and bring life to our city. The heart of the Gateway Vineyard student community is to be welcomed into family and to walk through university together, encountering the life-changing power of God and growing in who we’ve been made to be.

Mentoring

We understand that being at university or college can be a time when you’re wanting to learn more about who you are and grow in your knowledge of who God is. We run a mentoring programme for all students who call Gateway home. You’ll meet with your mentor for coffees, walks, meals and more. We want to champion you as you navigate university life and culture.

Events

Our student and young adult nights have varied from fire pits to lazer quest, pizza and games to beach picnics. We also have church-wide men’s and women’s events throughout the year which we encourage our students to come to.

In November, our students and young adult community heads to Nottingham for Cause To Live For – a highlight in our year. You can find out more on their website: www.causetolivefor.org.uk.

Sundays

We are really happy to welcome all students to our Sunday services. Upon arrival we have free coffee and cookies. After the morning services we often have free lunches at a home near church. If you’d like to come to a student lunch text ‘LUNCH’ to 07802 747 092.

Life Groups

Life Groups are at the heart of our church. Each week, Students and Young Adult Life Groups meet across the city. These are groups of 5-12 people who come together to have fun, eat, pray, read the Bible and work out how to live for Jesus as students in Norwich. Go to our Life Groups page to find out more.
